Our Returns & Exchanges Promise
We stand behind the performance of every part we ship, from 4-Tec 3.0 chassis to LiPo batteries. If an item doesn’t meet your expectations or arrives in less-than-perfect condition, our enthusiast-led team is here to make it right. Our policy is designed with the global hobbyist in mind, offering flexibility and transparency.

- Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all parts and manuals.
- Process Time: Refunds processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
- Return Shipping: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

The Returns & Exchanges Process: Step-by-Step
Follow these steps to initiate a return or exchange, ensuring a smooth and speedy resolution.
Step 1: Review Eligibility & Prepare Your Item
Before initiating a return, please ensure:
- The item was purchased within the last 15 days (from delivery date).
- It is in its original, saleable condition: unused, unassembled, unmodified, with all original packaging, parts, manuals, and tags.
- You have your original order number (e.g., RCSS12345) and proof of purchase.
⚠️ Important: Non-Returnable Items
To protect all hobbyists, certain items cannot be returned for health, safety, or technical reasons. Based on our product range, the following are FINAL SALE:
- Opened or Used Chemicals: All opened bottles of paint, adhesives, lubricants, or other chemicals from the Bodies & Paint or Building/Bench Supplies categories.
- Custom-Cut or Modified Items: Any part that has been cut, soldered, modified, or custom-fitted. Software or Digital Products: Any downloadable content or unlocked software codes.
- Intimate Mechanical Components: Certain sealed gearbox assemblies or internal engines where tampering cannot be verified, as determined by our technical team.

Step 2: Contact Our Support Team
Do not ship items back without authorization. Within the 15-day window, contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Step 4: Ship the Item Back
Once you receive your RMA number and instructions from our team:
- Securely pack the item in its original packaging, then place it in a sturdy shipping box.
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the box.
- Include a copy of your original packing slip or a note with your order number inside the box.
- Ship the package to the address provided in your RMA instructions. We recommend using a trackable and insured service (like DHL or FedEx, which we use for standard shipping).
- Retain your shipping receipt and tracking number.

Refunds: Timing & Methods
Your refund will be processed with the same care you put into your RC builds.
- Inspection: Refunds are initiated within 5-7 business days after we receive the return at our warehouse and verify its condition.
- Method: Funds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Timeline: Once processed, please allow additional time for your bank or PayPal to post the credit to your account. This typically takes 3-10 business days depending on your financial institution.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. Refunds for defective or incorrectly shipped items will include the original shipping cost.
Exchanges
Need a different gear ratio or a different body for your 4-Tec Drift? Exchanges are subject to product availability.
- Contact us first (as in Step 2 & 3) to confirm the desired exchange item is in stock.
- Once approved, you will receive an RMA and instructions to return the original item.
- After we receive and inspect the return, we will ship the replacement item. You will be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping charges.
- For faster service, you may choose to place a new order for the desired item and process the original item as a standard return for a refund.
